Einführung Snap Shots von der Firma Snap.com

Ich habe ein kleines nettes Tool namens "Snap Shots" auf dieser Webseite installiert. Dieses kleine Tool sorgt dafür, dass beim Anzeigen von Links kleine Bilder der Zielseite angezeigt werden. Zudem bietet es auch noch die Möglichkeit innerhalb einer Web-Seite gezielt Zusatzinformationen aus anderen Quellen anzuzeigen, ohne dass dafür extra eine andere Internet-Seite aufgerufen werden muss (natürlich wird die Seite trotzdem aufgerufen, jedoch braucht der Benutzer dafür nichts zu tun).Beispiele dafür sind Wikipedia Artikel, MySpace Profile, IMDb Profile und Amazon Produkte. Zudem können Inline Videos, RSS, MP3s, Photos, Aktienkurse und mehr angezeigt werden.

Manchmal zeigt Snap Shots alle Informationen, die man benötigt, ohne die Seite zu verlassen, manchmal gibt es die Möglichkeit einfach einfach nur zu schauen, ob es sich lohnt, den Link weiter zu verfolgen, oder nicht.

Falls Du entscheidest, das ist nichts für Dich, klick das Options Icon in der rechten oberen Ecke des Snap Shot und schalte es aus ( opt-out).

Introducing Snap Shots from Snap.com (das Ganze in english)

I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.

Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you look ahead, before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.

Should you decide this is not for you, just click the Options icon in the upper right corner of the Snap Shot and opt-out.
